The wild and crazy feature film SHAHID is a political drama and a desperate comedy at the same time. It is about historical heroes, today’s criminals and how modern women deal with it. SHAHID is a personal film that questions all kinds of radical ideologies -and doesn’t always take itself too seriously. SHAHID is a the debut film of director Narges Shahid Kalhor, produced by Michael Kalb in co-production with the ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen -is the second public service television station in Germany and the largest in Europe). The project is also funded by the Bavarian and Hessian Film Fund.
